Op 6 juni jl. overleed Billy Preston. Zijn eerste twee albums verschenen via het Apple-label van the Beatles bij EMI Music. Naast zijn werk met The Beatles voor het album "Let It Be" had Billy Preston ook nog tijd om zelf zijn tweede album op te nemen. Toch bleef hij dicht bij huis want songs als I've Got A Feeling, My Sweet Lord en All Things Must Pass zijn op Encouraging Words terug te vinden.
