[PIAS] Benelux is weer verantwoordelijk voor zowel de sales & distributie als marketing & promotie van het opnieuw zelfstandige label Mute. Vóór de verkoop van Mute aan EMI Music in 2002, verzorgde PIAS deze taken ook al voor het van oorsprong Britse label.
Deze nieuwe overeenkomst tussen [PIAS] Benelux en Mute is het gevolg van de verzelfstandiging van het Britse label, waarbij Mute weer als independent muziekmaatschappij verder gaat.
