The first release on Wiwek's music label Maha Vana is the brand new album "Cycles". The release represents the eternal dance of creation and destruction, where change is the only constant.
The album features collaborations with the likes of Stush, Watch the Duck, Kuenta i Tambu, Rachel West, and Foreign Beggars to name just a few. Dit jaar alleen in Amsterdam, maar wel een weekend lang feest!
Het Contrabanda! Festival zal dit jaar alleen plaatsvinden in onze hoofdstad, maar traditiegetrouw is het een weekend lang feest: op 12 november in de Melkweg, 13 november in het Bimhuis en 14 november in Paradiso.
Met onder meer AfroCubism, Amsterdam Klezmer Band met Kyteman en zijn blazerssectie en Hanggai: het Contrabanda! Festival heeft het wéér voor elkaar gekregen een spectaculaire line-up samen te stellen.
