2009 was a monumental year for The Gaslight Anthem. The View is een viermans indie rockgroep uit Dryburgh/Dundee, Schotland. De groep bestaat sinds begin 2005 en heeft inmiddels in voorprogramma's gestaan van groepen als Babyshambles, Primal Scream en The Undertones.
De band is getekend door het indie-label 1965 Records en debuteerde augustus vorig jaar met het nummer "Wasted Little DJs" en haalde daarmee de #15 in de Engelse hitparade.
