The Cloud Room komt uit Brooklyn New York. De groep bestaat sinds 2002. Hun debuutalbum “The Cloud Room” verscheen in 2005 en dat album brachten ze in eigen beheer uit. Op dit album staat ook het nummer “Hey now now”. Via MP3 blogs kreeg de groep al vrij snel veel aandacht en groeide de populariteit in korte tijd. Echter geen groot muzieklabel die in hen geinteresseerd bleek. Daarmee werd ook de weg naar radiosupport bij nationale radiostations een probleem.

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, The Cloud Room became a buzz band across the Atlantic when their superb single "Hey Now Now" became a sensation on college radio and music blogs. As a consequence, The Cloud Room became the first unsigned band to be used in an international ad campaign for Pepsi Max.
