[PIAS] Entertainment Group have signed a distribution and services deal with Musical Freedom to work on the much anticipated forthcoming album from global star Tiësto.

[PIAS] will work with Tiësto’s own new label Musical Freedom and New York based Complete Control Management to release Tiësto’s forthcoming artist album, titled ‘Kaleidoscope’ across the world excluding North America on 5 October 2009. The album will benefit from [PIAS]’ International services including the UK’s Integral service, and [PIAS] Entertainment Group’s marketing services throughout their global network of offices and affiliates.

‘Kaleidoscope’ will be Tiësto’s fourth artist recording and is expected to reflect the growing stature of a man who many consider to be the worlds biggest DJ. The first single, titled ‘I Will Be Here’, will be handled by Warner UK’s 14th Floor. ‘I Will Be Here’ will be released on 14th September following which [PIAS] take up the reigns on the album and further singles.

[PIAS] will be supporting the project with its full range of services, including Physical and Digital Distribution and Sales, full marketing services, [PIAS] Digital & Mobile Marketing solutions, [PIAS] Production and [PIAS] Sync & Brand.

Tiësto’s career highlights to date are many but recent exploits include a Grammy nomination, headlining both Coachella and Bonnaroo Festivals in 2008. With over 1 million Facebook friends, global brand sponsorships deals and sell out headline shows around the globe, Tiësto is on the crest of a wave which is only set to continue.

In addition to being a huge live draw (July 31st saw Tiësto stage his own outdoor headline show for 25,000 people in London’s Victoria Park), Tiësto is also one of the world’s biggest names in remixing, with recent work completed for Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, and Calvin Harris. The forthcoming long player released through the [PIAS] Entertainment Group will cement the reputation of a truly global superstar at the prime of his career.

The release of ’Kaleidoscope’ will be supported by a worldwide tour in 2009-2010 taking ‘Kaleidoscope’ out on 150 dates, across 5 continents. The schedule is North America in Sept–Nov 2009; Latin America in Dec 2009–Jan 2010, Australia & Asia in Jan-Feb 2010; Europe in March-May 2010: Euro & US Festivals in Summer 2010.

About Musical Freedom and Black Hole:
After ten years with Black Hole Recordings, Tiësto and the Holland based label decided to part ways. Following a long and successful partnership with Arny Bink, Tiësto felt that his music was evolving in a new direction and his focus as an artist was moving away from what Black Hole was set up to support.

Black Hole will continue to exploit Tiësto's current catalogue and mix compilations, as well as various releases in 2010 and onwards. Besides Tiësto, the label represents some of the finest talent in electronic music such as Robbie Rivera, Richard Durand, BT, JES and Cosmic Gate, to name a few, and is home of various imprints and brands as Magik Muzik, In Trance We Trust and In Search Of Sunrise.
