Elvis Costello brengt nieuw country album uit

Het nieuwe album ‘Secret, Profane & Sugarcane’ van Elvis Costello komt 5 juni uit. Het album is opgenomen in Nashville en geproduceerd door T Bone Burnett. Voor dit album heeft Elvis Costello samengewerkt met muzikanten als Jerry Douglas (dobro), Stuart Duncan (viool & banjo), Mike Compton (mandoline), Dennis Crouch (basgitaar) en Jeff Taylor (accordeon). Emmylou Harris is te horen op het nummer 'The Crooked Line'. De twee nummers ‘Complicated Shame’ en ‘Hidden Shame’ heeft Elvis Costello voor Johnny Cash geschreven.
