Een van de meest geprezen tours van 2013 - Kanye West's uitverkochte Yeezus Tour - komt ook naar Nederland. Op woensdag 2 juli 2014 presenteert Live Nation Kanye's Yeezus Tour in de Amsterdamse Ziggo Dome.
In 2004 bracht de succesvolle rapper/producer Kanye West zijn eerste studio-album uit, getiteld 'The College Dropout'. Hiervan werden ruim drie miljoen exemplaren verkocht en in thuisland Amerika schopte hij het direct tot superster. Na opvolger 'Late Registration' en de acht(!) bijbehorende Grammy-nominaties stond West ook wereldwijd definitief op de kaart. Single 'Gold Digger' werd een megahit en Kanye was behalve als producer en songwriter ook als solo-artiest niet meer weg te denken uit het hiphop genre en ver daarbuiten. In juni 2013 verscheen het meest recente album 'Yeezus' en met de daaropvolgende uitverkochte tour in Amerika bewijst de 36-jarige Kanye nog altijd een artiest van wereldformaat te zijn.
